This body or work titled “Tools” started while I was attending the SVA residency program in New York. While there, I started experimenting with installation and showing the tools I used, to create each panting as part of it. My aim was to open a conversation between the painting and the object and make them interact differently according to where the object/tool was placed. Like Richard Serra and Duchamp, in this body of work I am using material to investigate my visual intimacy.
